Summer is upon us and if you’re like me, that just makes you think of culinary fun, beachy holiday trips, and entertaining. Although outdoor entertaining is preferred during this season, sometimes rainy days call for a switch, and enjoyment in more comforting environments.
I’m sharing foodie tidbits, sumptuous dinnerware with Mother Nature in mind, and beautiful new pieces from Duralex!
Crowd-Pleasing Bakes
Firstly, let’s talk about this cheese baker by Emile Henry. This comes in Ocean, Burgundy (as shown), and Charcoal. If brie and entertaining are what you love, then you will want to add this baker to your wish list. Although I can see using this for other foods or even having a fondue night, it’s ideal for baked brie. I used fresh rosemary and just a few ingredients that pair well. Get the recipe here.
This comes with a lid and a non-porous glaze. Prepare cheese in a French raclette-style meal. I created a midday snack for friends coming over on the weekend. Try cured meats and vegetables with crackers or wafers, and a sliced baguette.
This would make a great vessel for gourmet melted dip as well. Whichever way you choose to use it, you’ll be sure to get plenty of mileage out of this little baker. This could also work well for a share-plate meal for two!
Garden Sophistication
This line is inspired by the natural botanicals, with the countryside coming to life. You can visibly see that in the beautiful etchings of lavender, butterfly motifs and violets on the dinnerware. Made from premium alumilite porcelain, you would never guess, but these are entertaining-friendly, as these exquisite pieces are dishwasher safe. So, that’s easy clean-up after guests have gone!
Present your feast at the table this season in style with this set, which comes with dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls for service for 4 persons. Make sure you check out the entire botanical collection, pieces are selling out fast!
